About
Built just north of the Manassas Battlefield
A veteran owned shop in Virginia horse country, building custom pieces for neighbors since 2018.

01 Our story
From hobby to shop
Battlefield Woodworks is a disabled veteran owned small business in the heart of Northern Virginia’s horse country. We were established in 2018 as a way to grow my hobby into a business.
I work full time in the corporate world and enjoy getting into the shop to make custom creations. Whether it is something simple like a CNC sign or an end-grain cutting board, or something more challenging like a dining room table, we are here to make your project ideas come to life.
My last name, Blair, translates to “battlefield” in Scottish Gaelic. On the name
The name leans into my family roots. As a combat veteran, the term Battlefield also speaks to my younger years serving my country. And we are situated just north of the Manassas Battlefield, where we love to walk the trails through the national park.
